ENVIRONMENT HEALTH AND SAFETY (EHS) POLICY
Management at Risan Engineering Industries Pvt. Limited is committed to ensure that all of its activities are conducted safely; the health of its employees, its contractors & customers are protected; no harm is caused to the environment; and its operations are run in a manner acceptable to the local community. The employees, capital, information and other assets shall be protected from accidental or deliberate harm, damage or loss. This will be ensured through:
- Full conformance to the requirements of all applicable legislation and any other compliance obligation must be ensured.
- Proactively conducting Risk Assessments of activities & processes, setting SMART Objectives for the elimination of workplace hazards and reduction of EHS related risks up to as low as reasonably practicable level.
- Taking proactive actions to reduce carbon footprint of its activities so that protection of the environment and prevention of pollution can be assured.
- Demonstrated leadership and commitment to drive continual improvement of the OH&S management system.
- Consultation and participation of workers in EHS improvement processes.
